The 2011 Roundup & Open House on Saturday, Nov 5 from 10am to 4pm is an Official Arizona Centennial Event. The Roundup showcases the Empire Ranch, engaging children and adults in the history and lore of the Old West. Sponsored by the Empire Ranch Foundation, the family-friendly event draws more than 2000 anually.  

This year's theme is "A Centennial Celebration of the Cowboy" paying tribute to this icon of the West.  Throughout the day relive cowboy traditions, watch exciting arena events featuring roping and riding, skill demonstrations, horseshoeing, saddle making, mule packing, and so much more! Enjoy your Western experience with "Cowboy Conversations,"  Western re-enactors, wagon rides, kid's corral, live Western music entertainment, Western authors pavilion, food, auctions, raffles, auctions and more!
