Walking & Self-Guided Tours of Empire Ranch Headquarters

Discover the Empire Ranch through self-guided tours using interpretive information designed for public learning. Explore the Empire Ranch House on your own – each room is interpreted with signage about its historical uses. The information kiosk, located inside the living room of the Victorian Addition, contains information about the history of the Empire Ranch and activities and events sponsored by the Empire Ranch Foundation. Walking Guide brochures are available for use while you are there. Just kindly return copies to the kiosk after you are done.

This website contains more information about the History of the Ranch, and its Building & Structures.

Free Docent-led Tours of the Ranch House, sponsored by the Empire Ranch Foundation, are held at 11am on the second and fourth Saturday of every month. Meet at the Visitor Contact Station. Tours are free, and open to the public. Advance registration is not required for individuals or groups smaller than 10. Special tours for groups can be scheduled by request.
