On the first Saturday in April, the Empire Ranch Foundation sponsors a Trail Ride through the rolling hills and spectacular scenery of Las Cienegas National Conservation Area. Join us for an Authentic Western Experience like no other, benefiting the Empire Ranch Foundation.
Spring Trail Ride at the Historic Empire Ranch
Saturday, April 6, 2024
We will have two guided horseback rides through the beautiful rolling grasslands of Las Cienegas National Conservation Area. The 3 hour ride departs at 9am and the 1.5 hour ride leaves at 10:30am. A BBQ lunch is included in the trail rides and also available for purchase separately. Docent tours will be offered.
Trail ride registration closed on March 31, 2024.
All rental horses must be booked through ERF. Privately owned horses or mules are welcome. Riders must be at least 8 yrs. old. An adult must accompany riders 8-12 yrs. old and helmets are required for riders 8-12 yrs. old. Helmets are available for all upon request.
We ride rain or shine! Please dress accordingly. There are no refunds for the weather. Other refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis; however, our general policy is that there are no refunds after March 10, 2024.
